Our services include:

Retainer

A highly committed executive search which includes a thorough search practice, providing periodic progress updates, psychometric test reports and a search report. It is particularly for senior or strategic middle management positions, especially in situations where tact and confidentiality are the priorities. The client company pays 20% of the hired candidate’s first year’s salary. Usually, the client pay 20% up front, 20% when they are presented with the short list of candidates, and the rest upon hiring a candidate.

In this arrangement, companies have to pay regardless of whether the position is filled or not, and it is estimated that in the market, 25% go unfilled. We will notify clients of positions that are difficult to fill and have the right to decline to work under the retainer.


Contingency Exclusive

In this exclusive engagement, client companies will give the exclusive right to recruit for a particular position to Focus Search Services. Clients will enjoy the priority, dedication and consistent follow-through we provide in meeting the goal of getting the best candidates for our valued client, yet do not have to pay a single cent until the right candidate for the job is identified and offered a position in client company.

Typically, besides identifying the right candidates from the responses through the advertisements we place on behalf of our clients, we provide a concurrent, full executive search service to identify the other suitable candidates who are unreachable except through a custom-recruiting approach that is conducted in a professional and discreet manner.

A time frame is determined and agreed with our clients to work on and present our list of qualified candidates.


Contingency

In this arrangement, search companies will compete with each other against time to deliver their best candidates. We will undertake such assignments when not more than 2 other agencies are working on the same assignment.

Development Training for Managers & Executives

We conduct regular development courses to companies to equip them with a better understanding of how different types of people work together and increase the self-awareness of their managers and executives. The courses aim to better performance with the concepts of DiSC, Myers-Briggs, team Management System and Learning Organisation applied in teambuilding, employee relations, customer service, sales team performance, management retreats, etc.


Resume Writing for Senior Executives

We assist senior executives to write or update their existing resume for internal promotion, participation as a board member of a listed company or public institution, or for a new career opportunity.

We charge S$200 / HKD1,200 per hour and we usually take 5 hours to complete a satisfactory resume.

The process:

a) You’ll send over a copy of all existing CVs, any public articles, information or write up that you already have about yourself.

b) After reviewing the received documents, we will speak to you over the phone for about 30 mins to understand your aspirations and career directions.

c) We will prepare a draft and send it to you for review.

d) We will speak to you again about the draft and the areas you wish to be enhanced.

e) Final version will be sent to you.
